Mokuchū was a woodblock printmaker who is perhaps best known for his prints of horses. However, he also made more than ten prints featuring flowers or birds and eleven examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Mokuchū used a true-to-life drawing style for flowers but he drew birds more creatively.
